About Us
Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin returns with a site-specific programme specially designed for Loods6 in Amsterdam.
Four days dedicated to the contemporary practices of the moving image.
The internationally renowned festival, which has previously presented successful editions at venues such as Centre Pompidou, Louvre Museum and Palais de Tokyo in Paris and Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, was brought to Amsterdam for the first time in December 2024 by curators Jean-François Rettig and Nathalie Hénon. They now return to Loods6 with a remarkable second edition!
In the familiar, yet for this occasion fully transformed Bagagehal, Rencontres Internationales Loods6/Amsterdam presents a unique space to experience and explore hybrid forms of new cinema and contemporary art through screenings, artist talks, and live performances.
It is a meetingpoint for artists, audiences, and professionals to discover bold, experimental, and inspiring works that explore the possibilities of the moving image today.
Admission and reservations:
Admission to all programme events is free, subject to seat availability. As seating is limited, we recommend reserving in advance.
However, this is not mandatory: you are also welcome to attend without a reservation, as long as seats are still available.
