About Us

The internationally renowned festival, which has previously staged successful editions at venues such as Jeu de Paume and Fondation Fiminco in Paris and Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, was first brought to Amsterdam by curators Jean-François Rettig and Nathalie Hénon in December 2024. They now return to Loods6 for a remarkable second edition.

In the iconic Bagagehal – entirely transformed for the occasion – Rencontres Internationales Loods6/Amsterdam offers a unique space to experience and explore new cinema and contemporary art through screenings, artist talks, and live performances. It is a meeting place for artists, audiences, and professionals to discover daring, experimental, and inspiring works that push the boundaries of today’s moving image.
